Artificial intelligence is like the fastest race car. It’s so fast, you can’t keep up. New AI tools are springing up too, and all we have to do is choose which one would be the best to put into everyday practice. One of the areas heavily affected by AI is marketing, where dozens of different AI tools can be applied. How does it work? Here are some of them that, when used properly, can make everyday work easier.
ChatGPT
This is perhaps the most talked about AI tool of all. “ChatGPT is a chatbot with which you can interact in a dialogue format and get the answers you need, in detail, on virtually any topic. The answers can help with a variety of tasks, such as writing the right email, article or social media post. The conversation is simulated as if you were talking to a real person.
It is increasingly being discussed in the public domain as a fairly big competitor to Google’s search engine. However, this should not be rushed, as both tools have different strengths and weaknesses. Their use needs to be context-specific. Perhaps the biggest disadvantage of ChatGPT is that it has limited knowledge of the world and its developments after 2021. However, such errors are already being corrected, as the latest model (in the paid version) is already able to gather the latest knowledge from the Internet and to update the information. It is worth noting that this artificial intelligence tool is available in more than 50 languages, including Lithuanian. It is possible to ask a question in our language and receive an answer. To make ChatGPT more effective, it is advisable to be flexible when using it. If the chatbot did not understand the question, it is always possible to stop generating the answer and ask the question from a different angle by rephrasing it. The most important thing to keep in mind is that sometimes the tool may not generate exactly the right information. It is therefore always advisable to check the answers received to avoid errors.
DeepL
Another useful artificial intelligence tool that has been labelled a competitor of Google. This time, it is not in the area of information retrieval and presentation, but in translating texts from one language to another.
This tool can translate the language of text not only by copying and pasting it into a special box, but also by uploading files containing text into the system. For example, Microsoft Word or PowerPoint. Lithuanian is one of the 31 languages that can be translated using DeepL. The quality of DeepL is reflected in the feedback and experience of its users. It is very often stated that although the tool lacks accuracy in some languages, it offers a much higher quality of translation than Google Translate, which is still the most popular tool among users.
Flick
Another AI tool, Flick, can help you create authentic content or ideas for social networks. “Flick offers a number of key features such as: copywriting support, tools for creating hashtags, scheduling posts, analytics and reporting. For example, if you want to showcase your brand’s strengths, but lack inspiration, Flick can instantly generate a wealth of original ideas for content when you type in a relevant topic. The tool is able to analyse a brand in detail and provide relevant material based on all the key features. It can also help to keep social media accounts active without having to create completely new content. For example, breaking down certain text into different parts that will be suitable for different social media posts.
Grammarly
A tool useful for those working with texts, whatever their length, and wherever they will be used. It is true that it can only be used for English texts, as it has not yet been adapted for Lithuanian or other languages.
If you share your text with Grammarly, it can give you a variety of suggestions to improve your text, its structure or the purpose and authenticity of the words you use. The tool provides guidance on how to use language for a particular gender or age, so that the text is fully relevant even to more sensitive audiences. “Grammarly gives you the option to choose your English dialect and writing style. The number of errors or suggestions can be monitored immediately. The text is not automatically corrected. Suggestions for accepting or rejecting possible changes are offered. The tool can be downloaded as a browser extension and then used on most other platforms and websites such as Google Docs, Twitter, etc.
HDrobots
If you want to create the visual style you need for brand advertising, for example, one of the world’s fastest growing artificial intelligence platforms, Hdrobots, is useful. “Hdrobotsuses artificial intelligence to generate user-centric ad units and social posts in seconds. This saves time that can be spent on other important things. To create the visualisation, the platform needs to provide a logo, a colour-coded style book or other requirements. The target audience should also be defined and the size and format of the content to be created should be chosen. It is possible to rely on artificial intelligence and let it create the message itself. “Hdrobots is able to decide where each element should be placed in the advertisement so that the visualisation looks right. It also gives you the possibility to choose between the various designs on offer. The whole creative process is automated, so all you have to do is give it a task and wait to see what the tool delivers that you’ve never seen before, and what surprises you.
